my projector is not projecting, and it says "no source found", or searching. How can I fix it.?
The brand is BENQ, and i have an hp pavillion laptop.

Function F4 (hold the Fn key, tap the F4 key) changes between the LCD screen, and the external monitor. That should be the first thing you try. Now... you should ALSO check to see what resolution and refresh rate your [unknown model] BenQ operates at, because it could easily be that you are attempting to send a video signal at a resolution and/or refresh rate that the projector cannot handle. If I knew the model projector, I could look it up, or give you a link to the manual. Oh... don't bother adding more information into Additional Details. Yahoo doesn't inform people who answered your questions when you do that.... so putting in the model of projector you have won't get that information to me. And... your question is about 10 pages back, and isn't about to be seen by people not actively looking for it. end of line
