Is this a good deal for NZ$1500?
My friend has offered to build be a computer for about $1500 since the motherboard on my laptop blew up for the third time and I'm sick of it. My main purpose for this computer would be gaming but not extreme gaming just casual. The specs are as follow: CPU: Intel Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz LGA755 w/ Fan Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL/1600 Intel G31 LGA755 ATX (Supports CrossfireX) 132 RAM: Transcend JetRAM 800Mhz DDR2 2GB Video Card: HIS HD4850 ATi 512Mb PCI-E GDDR3 PSU: Antec Basiq 500W HDD: Samsung Spinpoint 320GB 7200RPM SATA II Optical Drive: Samsing Internal 22x Speed Plus DVD/RW SATA Case: iCute S901-BB 5G Monitor: BenQ E2200HD 21.5รข€ 1080p 2ms Keyboard + Mouse: Microsoft Wired Desktop 600 P.S NZ$1500 is about US$1000-1100 around this weeks exchange rates. And he is also willing to overclock the cpu to about 3.0ghz and graphics card to around 750mb. Thanks.

I don't agree with the price. Dell's XPS 630 gaming desktop is for a USD 1000 with the following specs: CPU: Intel Core 2 E8400 3.0 GHz with 6MB cache Optical Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) DL RAM: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM2 at 800MHz - 2 DIMMs HDD: 500GB3 - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache Video Card: SLi, Dual nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB Audio: Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio Plus you have 1 year warranty incase if anything goes wrong, bear in mind that your friend wouldn't be able to give you a warranty. Sure the PC that I've listed above doesn't come with a monitor but you could get one for an additional 150 to 200 dollars. I'd suggest that you do a bit of market research before you buy your new PC.
